I was recently searching through some of my dads old gear and managed to come across an old Technics SU-8011 Amplifier and set it up with the Tuner and Speakers I found it with.

It works fine, but I was planning on hooking it up to either my pc or phone aswell. Ive read that I would require a 3mm to RAC but with this being a system from around 1979, I was wondering if I would need to take any additional steps in order to set it up properly such as a DAC etc.

Any help with this would be appreciated, Thanks again.

You can try the headphone jack. Start with the volume all the way down on the phone and on the amp. You will have to figure out the correct signal level....

Green jack from the motherboard, into 2 x RCA connections into the AUX input on the Technics...it should work just fine.

Something like this is what you need
12-120-151-TS
