Hey all,
I have a Belkin Router at home for my WiFi and use a Galaxy S3 phone. I was checking the settings on my router because my internet has been really slow lately and noticed there was an extra IP address in my DHCP client list. Long story short, it turned out to be my GS3. When I shut down the Wifi on it and refresh the DHCP client list, 2 IP addresses go away. When I turn it back on, 2 IP's show up. One IP is labeled as an Android device but the mystery IP is not labelled. Each one has its own MAC address. The labelled IP is the correct one for my phone and the mystery IP is 1 number higher.
Any ideas what I can do to fix this? I have googled this like crazy but have found nothing.
Thanks!
