Hello,

An employee that worked here for years has recently left. She had set up her outlook calendar for specific reoccurring dates/events that change. I need to grant a different user access to this her calendar BUT cannot allow the user access to the previous employees emails. So basically can I just grant the new user read/write access to the previous employees outlook calendar.

Another question: Is it possible to take the previous employees calendar data and put it on a shared calendar for the department?

My company uses Exchange 2008.

Thank you very much!

Oh, then just go to the Exchange server, open the mailbox that you want and you will see the folders for that person, right-click on the Calendar and you'll see a permissions tab. That is one of the basic things you need to do if working in Exchange and Outlook. Lots of books about it. Take a look at http://www.slipstick.com/ very good references for Exchange and Outlook issues and questions.
