Wow!! This is only my 2nd forum ever. I really appreciate the time you took to reply to me. I will definitely try this and drop a note back to you. I have had the TV for a few years and never had an occasion to use or try the apps until now. Lesson learned!

I think clearing cache and data will help since Youtube app is not loading properly. You can press the home or menu button on the remote and look for the settings, then look for apps, then look for Youtube, then tap clear cache.
