Question Sharp LC-40F22E not turning on

The TV tries to turn on by blinking 9 times but cannot turn on. Tried all the combinations I could find online of buttons to no avail. It blinked 5 time with the 5th being longer then a further 3 times. Finally it just continually flashed in the same increments.
Any advice?

unplug power
press the power button at the TV (not the remote) for about 20seconds
after that, replug the TV´s power and try powering it on

If it still is not working, replacing internal boards would be the last thing to do. Either power, T-con or backlight failure
