Shoot pictures with lines

My Olympus digital camera is showing lines after i shoot an image but the ICD is in good condition, if i record a video the lines will not appear

Is it because of lights?

What do you mean by "lines" exactly? As in a grid over the pictures? Or random lines and defects? In all types of shooting or only low light?
