Solved! Shorted out system

My friend accidentally plugged his phones music out aux cord into my home stereo headphone jack causing an instant shutdown. It is a pioneer vsx-d710s. Can it be reset and powered up again ?

You can unplug it from the wall and try it but I suspect a repair will need to be done. Since it's an older receiver that repair will likely exceed its' current value. Not likely to be a DIY.
