Solved! Should I delete the BitLocker recovery text file that BitLocker created?

It's just a .txt file with a long number to use in case I forgot my password I guess. It seems kind of pointless to encrypt a drive if a thief gets access to that .txt file they will be able to unlock it.

Do you just delete this file?

copy it to pendrive and leave somewhere you know (like random drawer) or copy it into your phone and name it randomly like "checksumformark". If you forget pass AND you will (this might come in handy after 2-3 years) might be life saver. Make name unique not aaaaaa file as you will also forget the filename :)
