Should I get an audio card?

I am planning on purchasing on a pair of Sennheiser HD 600's, but I do not know if my onboard audio can drive them. I'm not an audio expert and was wondering if I should get a small Amp or a soundcard. This is my motherboard http/www.gigabyte.us/Motherboard/GA-Z170X-Gaming-5-rev-10#ov

The motherboard audio is pretty good nowadays. It will definitely be fine for your headphones. Buy the headphones first, and try them out. If you notice the sound quality difference, then you can invest in a sound card afterward. It takes a good pair of headphones and pretty good hearing to pick up on the differences nowadays.
