Should I get an HTiB or get separate components?

is the HTiB i am planning to buy.

If getting separate components is the better way, what should I get?

Separate components will be better. More flexible, you can choose the speakers you like rather than be stuck with the low quality speakers that this type of system comes with. It would be more expensive but in the long run worth while.
Onkyo makes some good low priced receivers and often has speaker packages to go with them. Don't know what speaker brands you would have available there.
