I don't really know if that's much of an 'upgrade'. The Moto X Pure has slightly better internals, but that's offset by having to power the larger screen and the end result should be very similar real-world performance. The lack of bloatware is a great draw, but as somebody who roots all their phones, I don't see this is much of an issue. In terms of an upgrade, this one would be lateral and lackluster (at least to me), especially if you need to break a contract to do so. I'd think big and go for something better, but of course that also means spending more money.
