Showing speakers not plugged in??

hi. When ever i plug in my aux cable of my CREATIVE speakers to my pc's audio jacket, it shows speakers not plugged in. BUT digital audio(HDMI) plugged in but sound does not come.!! But when i remove the cable, it shows spekers are plugged in..Sometimes it works...sometimes it dont.. PLEASE HELP MEEE

Click on your speaker icon and then click on the speaker at the top of the volume slider. It will show you the plug colours and what is to plug into them.
