Simple iPod questions

1. Everyone says that the new Video iPod (30GB) only plays 2 hours of video.
How many hours does the 60GB get?

2. Does anyone have any links to Apple's competitors that also play videos?

3. Is there a software out there (maybe free) that easily can convert avi/mpeg to mpeg-4 files for iPod viewing (if I choose that one)?

1. The same.

2. Creative Zen Vison:M review on DenGuru -It's much better than the video iPod, and has 3.5 - 4 hrs of battery life.

3. Handy thing about the Vision:M is that it has far more support for video file formats than the iPod's MPEG 4. As for answering your question, err short answer yes, long answer it's 22.30hrs here and I can't remember

i have 2 questions:
1. approximatly how many songs can be stored in a 20GB iPod
2. are there any 'no frills' iPods? (as in few as possible progams therefore more space or cheaper)
