Hello. I wonder is there a way to simulate a midi keyboard velocity using computer keyboard. I'm using a piano software called EveryonePiano. In order to play the piano I use the whole keyboard from z x c to numpad keys and enter keys. i have a second mouse that I use to sustain the notes but I'm missing the velocity on the keys. There is nothing to do on the hardware side its a computer keyboard guys but i think we can do it with the software idk like code some kind of a script or use autohotkey . If someone can help me with this I will be here.
On MIDI keyboards, keys are "analogue" devices. A computer keyboard is "digital" device - a key is either pressed (contact closed) or not.
Yes I know that the keyboard is a USB device that can't give analog signal. But maybe tweak the software side like measure time between key presses and that way assign some kind of a function that allows to change the dynamics in the piano software. I think AutoHotkey can do that.
