SIR-T351 Firmware-anyone have a copy?

Howdy all,

I called samsung and they said they would send me the firmware. They
sent me the T151 firmware instead. I called them back and they said
they can't find anything about an upgrade. I think it should be
version 111 or something to that effect (from what I've found on the
net) and I'm having audio dropouts (hiccups) with my unit. Hope someone
can help...thanks!

Can you send me the T151 firmware they erroneously sent you? I have a
T151 and would like the new firmware :)

It took just 3 days, but they sent the wrong one. I called their tech
support and they sent it right out.

How long did it take for Samsung to send you the flash firmware kit? I
signed up for T151 kit on their web site about 2 weeks ago and still
haven't seen it.

I contacted Samsung again and a different tech knew exactly what I
needed and emailed it to me. Installed the upgrade and the
"stuttering" is gone!!! Just a not for anyone doing an upgrade, the
first time I tried it, I got a pop up screen saying "SUCCESS!" within a
second of starting the upgrade. I thought that was pretty quick and
got suspicious when the sound problem was still there. I checked the
info on the help screen and sure enough the old firmware was still
there. I tried the upgrade again and this time a progress bar popped
up and it took a good 5 minutes for the install.

How did you get a cable? I received the firmware but no cable, only
instructions on how to assign pins if I wanted to make my own cable.

I'd read somewhere that they will only send cables to owners in the USA,
but I'm not sure if that's entirely true. As your IP is apparently in
Atlanta, GA, one would think they'd send you a cable. Try calling them
to and ask for one.

I have had the SIR-T351 model for about a year knowing that it has a
Dolby Digital droupout problem but gave up after samsung never sent me
the firmware. I see that many of you have had the same problem so if
anyone has the latest firware that corrects this problem and the cable
pinout I would greatly appreciate the information/firmware.

There is no firmware upgrade for this model.

According to samsung there is a firmware upgrade for that model.
