Smart TV Issues - no keyboard

Hi guys,

I just bought this TV. I got it for a STEAL because it was a floor model. Unfortunately i didnt get the correct remote for it.

The store gave me a compatible remote but its a dinky little thing without a keyboard.

Thus, i cannot take full advantage of the Smart TV features (like the web browser) because when i go to certain places a digital keyboard doesnt appear on the TV (which is a frustrating way to type anyway).

I thought it would be easy enough to just plug an old mechanical keyboard into the USB port and POW! but that wasnt the case....not so simple.

can anyone point me in the direction of a solution for this? TV is great otherwise!

went and got the k400 from target today. $20. so great to have the little touchpad on there at such an economical price.
