smart tv says we have a wired connection

smart tv says we have a wired connection but we have wireless and its working. Cant use the smart hub because we get the notice that network is not connected. It worked well and stopped in the middle of a netflix show.

The specs for the Samsung UN46EH6070 show no built-in wifi, so you must have either a USB wireless adapter connected to it or are utilizing the Ethernet port (i.e. direct wired or bridge).

If there is a USB adapter, try unplugging it momentarily to reset it.

Otherwise, you'll need to find how exactly it's getting a network connection.

We have a Samsung lan adapter, We've unplugged it and replugged. This has worked fine ever since we got it in 2012. Just stopped.

It's quite possible the adapter has simply failed. Unfortunately there won't be anything else you can do other than trying a new adapter.
