Ok, I got an old Toshiba Satelite A105.
A while back I started having this problem where the first boot-up screen came up, the one saying: "Press F12 for boot..." and then when I have to put in my boot-up password, the screen goes dark. If I am in bright light I can just barely see. Everything still runs fine, just the screen is dark.
I saw some other threads on this topic, but none really helped.
I saw a bunch on testing it by connecting it to an external monitor, but I don't have a VGA wire.
