hi all, i want to build a new computer for gaming and i already bought the cpu, which is p4 e8600 and the graphic card im using is evag geforce 9800gtx+ 1gb, 4gb of ram and 500HD. the problem is i do not know which motherboard to get. some people says ASUS is a good brand.

and which graphic card is better nvidia or ati

and how can i tell how much wattage do i need for the new computer. thanks

Depends on whats model are you comparing.

400 Watts is good enough but more if you overclock, add 20Watts for every optical drive you add, 10-15 watts per hard drive.

some people says ASUS is a good brand
I just finish building a PC using Gigabytes motherboard, even though I like the board I like the Asus better. Also if you check Asus driver support, you'll be likely to find drivers for six year old board at Asus site than if you use other boards, Intel is an exception.
