Can I use a cable that has hdmi to rca connectors?
That would be a big FAT NO. HDMI is digital, RCA is analog, both are incompatible.
Is your intention to record to DVD from BR? For this to happen at all, your DVD recorder has to have VIDEO INPUT, if it does, you maybe able to find some sort of HDMI to whatever VIDEO INPUT converter. But am betting $5 this DVD recorder is intended to record stuff from a computer via USB/ethernet.
No it's actually set up to record from a cable box, but I have to use the rca connectors. The blu Ray has the capability of viewing apps like Netflix, vudu, ect... And I want to be able to record some programs on DVD. The DVD has rca in and rca out (along with S-video in and out, and others) neither one has a hdmi in, only hdmi out.
