My DVD player won't play DVDs says no disc when disc is in the DVDs trey

This usually means that the player is not detecting a disc due to a dirty, weak, or dead laser.
You can try to clean it with a cleaning disc. Otherwise time to replace it since the repair is more than a new BD player.
