I got this camera from work with a 16gb mem stick, i thought it would take forever to fill up but since we had our first kid we have alot of pictures/videos on it but files are huge, especially the videos and they are very pixely even tho it shows HD 1080, the jpg pictures range from 1-4mb is there a way i can compress them and go threw it all quickly throwing away what ones i don't like? The only programs i have for photo editing is lightroom but its fairly new to me.

If I am not mistaken .jpg files are already highly compressed. If you increase compression you risk losing image quality. The HD video files are probably the ones taking up the most space on the memory stick. Have you tried copying the files to a computer? If no, try that and then delete the files from the memory stick after you are sure they have been copied to your computer. I would also suggest you make a backup copy of your images and videos.
