Sony speaker problem

My new sony bravia 50w829 will not talk to my panasonic 5.1 suround sound whilst watching tv it works as is ok whilst watching a dvd ( scart con ) previously o would use the vierra link mow disabled thanks in advance

Your Sony TV has optical audio out so if your Panasonic system has optical in just make that connection.
