Hmmmmmmm with all the things that they have, why don't they just make it an all in one tab.....
You can watch TV on it if the put the WiDi stuff in it, you can certainly use it for playing games over the WiFi if they have a little more stuff to get it going with the PS3. Hells they could have had their own OS inside like the base thing on the PSPGo....

There is so much Sony could do to make people want to buy this over an IPAD. Connecting to the PS3 as someone has suggested. They have things that IPAD (And other android devs) don't. They just seem to be working slow at getting them out.

I just received the upgrade (US) and connect my PS3 conroller to my tablet with no problem.

What a sorry excuse for a service. Xperia Play was sold as being a PSSuite device and still only plays Bandicoot even after the service was launched. The service that the tablet gets isn't that impressive. 10 games? Not even A list titles? For 6 dollars? I could get those actual titles used for under 6 dollars. You also have to factor in the initial USB connection for your controller requires their USB adapter at an extra expense, even though you'd only need it once for the controller to work. So pretty much Sony is overpricing a product inferior to many on the market, lying about the services their devices are getting, and adding extra expenses for other promised services. Business as usual these days for Sony.

Or I could just go buy a cheaper tablet with an HDMI out and built in USB and get an emulator and play A list tiles for free. For a company that doesn't like piracy, they sure do a lot to encourage it.

and in other news - Sony's Tablet received another update that removes Android Market stating that it takes too much resources to be "Backwords Compatible", and is relying solely on the PlayStation Store. No need to complain folks, it's in the EULA that the features Sony offers are subject to change even after purchase.
