Sony X850E to Denon AVR-S730H Stereo only via ARC

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for some help here.

The Sony X850E supports 5.1 via ARC.

When using an app on the TV, such as Netflix with a 5.1 stream, the receiver is only receiving a stereo signal.

I cannot find any settings anywhere I may have missed on the TV or receiver to ensure I get 5.1 back via ARC into the receiver.

Any help or hints is much appreciated.

I somehow got it to work by playing in the Sync Menu.
Initially it ended up causing lots of issues between the receiver and the TV, but after cycling the power and toggling settings, it now works.
I don't know what actually fixed it though
