"Sorry, this video cannot be played" on android

Somehow i manged to destroy my tablet and now i am stuck on my samsung galaxy 3(not s3).
Whenever i try to open some of the videos i get "Sorry, this video cannot be played".
Youtube videos work and some of that i downloaded.Older videos work fine while the new one have another codec so i cant play theme.

I checked the videos that work and the video i tried to use:

-they are both mp4
-they are both h.264 codec
-have same resolution
-same bitrate

Im using android fyoro (2.2)
Until i get my tablet back i need a way to watch videos on my old phone.
Is there any converter that i can use on the phone or my pc?
