Solution Ralston18 Jan 24, 2018 Seems to narrow down the problem to "inexpensive Seiki DVD player". New player may be necessary..... Nothing to lose by opening up the existing DVD player (if possible) and looking inside for loose connections and cables.

The key is to eliminate possible causes that clearly narrow the problem down to one involved component. May or may not be the DVD player..... Upvote 0 Downvote
