Sound only coming from left ear bud on iPad

I've tried getting new ear buds and headphones. That worked for a little while, but now even that won't solve it anymore. Both went out for a time but I sprayed alcohol into them and that brought the right back again but still didn't fix the left one. Please help I don't want to have to get a new ipad.

Have a tech replace the audio jack if more than one headset has the same issue.
