Soundbar to Finlux

When connecting my Panasonic Sound Bar via a Digital Optic cable through my Sky box to my Finlux TV, I get no HD sound. Channels other than HD are fine. The sound is fine theough the normal TV system. Can anyone help ?

Connection should go cable box to tv, tv audio out to the sound bar, try that and see if it works.
