Hi,
I have a set of old speakers that connect via spring clip. I want to hook them up to my audio interface, but I have no idea how to hook up speaker wire. I've read about banana plugs and spring clip adapters online, and I'm still very lost. A short simple explanation for how this process works would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Yes you will need an amp for those speakers, those are just standard speaker connections, get speaker wire, connect them to the amp. Connect the output of the Berhinger to the amp input. I don't know about those speakers, but going by the brand and price they are not very good, no need to get a fancy amp for them, this should do https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M8NLFV8/ref=sspa_dk_detail_2?psc=1 or see what is available on craigslist in your area for a receiver if you want a bit more flexibility.

Sorry, it's a Behringer U-Phoria UMC404HD. As for the speakers, I'm not sure what model they are, I got them free and used, but I can check when I get back if they have model information on them somewhere. There are spring clip connectors on the back.
I'm wondering if I need an amplifier, and what connections I'll need on both ends. I've never worked with speaker wire before, so I have no clue how to hook it up.
