Question SSD upgrade on my Aspire E 15 E5-575-72L3

i have Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575-72L3 laptop which i use for my personal use and to learn coding and do maintain documents.

i used macbook pro in my last company and i got used to the speed and performance on macbook.

i am thinking of replacing the HDD in my Acer laptop and was thinking of going for the SAMSUNG 970 EVO NVMe M.2 1 TB.

i dnt have any knowledge on computer hardware, Please help me decide which is best way to go forward.

i opened the back cover and it does have a slot, i could upload the image, but i am not able to do so in here
installed the software hwinfo064 and checked the pci Express configuration

Maximum Link Width : 1x

PCI Express root port #12 :
version : 3.0,
Maximum Link Width : 1x
