I picked up a SMSL SD793-II DAC/Amp (https
/www.amazon.com/SMSL-SD793-II-PCM1793-DIR9001-Amplifier/dp/B00A2QLPJM) last week and have been getting static issues. My audio source is my PC via optical and it is powered with an AC adapter. Even with the optical cable unplugged, there is static so I don't think my PC is the problem. So my step was to investigate where it is plugged in for power. Currently, I have a power strip with: my PC, 3 monitors, an amp, and an LED strip power adapter. This power strip is plugged into an extension cable along with the DAC/amp in question, which is plugged into the wall outlet. I tried plugging it into the wall outlet and the power strip and I still get static. Could someone offer advice?
