is there a
CF/SM/MMC/SD/MS storage media comparison around here?
couldnt find one.
(hope the abbreviations are understandable)
can anyone tell me what's the differences among these?(power consumption, transfer rate, durability, which is good for what usage, etc.)

is there any recommendations for which type to get? (for camera storage, should i get 1 with SD or MS?)

Overall there isn't much difference between them. I'd concentrate on finding a camer that suits you.

I have to cameras that use MemoryStick and they work great. Little more expensive but I like the Sony Digital cameras.

Performance wise I doubt there is a difference between the different types of card, they are all flash in the end. The performance differences are between differend models of the cards. Like CF IBM micro drive vs regular CF card or sandisk vs sandisk ultra II, etc.
Just get a camera you like and get what ever it needs.
