Solved! storage upgrade hp 450 g2

hey all, I've got an oppurtunity to purchase a hp 450 g2 (the i7 version), however it comes with a 1TB HDD. I could get a 500GB SSD through my work, but I have no idea if it will work with the laptop. Anyone knows if it's suitable?

I believe it would be a PCIE 2.0 SSD

ah I see, so would a Crucial MX500 1tb SSD be a proper solution?

I can get this laptop for 350 euros (it's a used one), but I'm not sure if it will be a good purchase. I will be using it for basic office work but also for running Virtual Machines.
