Stuck on aptio setup

I have an ASUS r503u laptop with windows 8.1, yesterday I got a windows update and now today when I tried to turn it on I keep getting the aptio setup utility page. I've tried disabling 'secure boot control' and enabled 'launch CSM' suggested on other forums but I get a black screen saying 'reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key'. How do I exit the aptio setup?
