First:
System: http://bit.ly/1cjC6JH
LED Lights: (3x) http://ebay.to/1AuoGGt

Secondly currently I have them hooked up direct with a switch to a 9V battery and they light up perfectly. Instead of me going out to buy a amplifier is there any way I can bypass it. I know I can do this with a TIP31 Transistor but I don't have one of these and it would seem near impossible to do without a soldering gun and without all three wires touching. Shouldn't their be a way to send current to the lights with the battery with the speaker wires also hooked up.

It will work if I disconnect the battery and hook with speaker wires up to the + and - but I have to have the music on blast and bass up all the way. I just need that extra kick, ya know.

EDIT:
I got something going. I don't know what, but I got something.

Is it safe to keep it like this? I'm not worried about blowing out the LED lights but will it harm my system?

if you have a voltometer measure the voltage of just the speaker wires and then between the negative and the led lights. if they are too far off you might be damaging your system.
