If you're arresting the children, the mother of the girl should be arrested as well. Allowing her child to become a porn star is criminally negligent in my book. The mother says her daughter made a mistake, but she made the bigger one by not keeping tabs on her child. A 13 year-old should not be 'dating' and should not be left unsupervised for the length of time it would take for a naked picture to be taken, especially with an individual that they claim to have an emotional attachment to.
The mother made a mistake, the daughter made a mistake, the boyfriend and other children made a mistake. How come only the latter are being punished, and unjustly at that?
This is getting ridiculous. Cellphones are tools, not toys. If a parent thinks a child should have one so that contact can be made in case of an emergency, remove the frills and make it only do what it's needed for. At the very least remove the text-message and data features, at least until our children start having phone sex.
