Hello, I have a broken notebook motherboard, and instead trying to fix it, i'll just get a new one.

However, i want to sell the working normal parts of the dead notebook (screen, ram, hdd etc) but seems i can't figure out how to test the LCD without buying expert tools or borrowing a same notebook from someone else.

My question, Is there any easy way to test that the screen is working normal?

Not exactly, no. Each LCD typically uses different cables, as manufacturers make their own proprietary standards (I'm looking at you Dell!). If you can, buy a controller board for the LCD, as that will be cheaper than buying specialist testing equipment, otherwise I would just sell the LCD as 'unknown condition'.

If your testing just one screen it's not really worth going to any hassle or spending any money on a testing kit. If your going to sell it on eBay I would just list it and if the customer says it's faulty then give them there money back and tell them to keep the item.
