I'm currently an AT&T customer and I go through quite a bit of data every month a substantial amount because I can't get internet service where I live so I use my phone as a WiFi spot! However I'm wondering if I switch to Straight Talk and bring my S6 from AT&T they say that you can't tether your data I'm sure they're going to deactivate the hotspot in my phone but will I still be able to tether it via USB?

Solution
You will likely need to use some sort of 3rd party software to use tethering, I don't think any of the lower tier service providers allow tethering by default. Keep in mind that if you go against the service agreement they can cancel your service.
