I have an HP laptop from 2015, I have no video cable?! I have white screen! Is it worth it to try and repair it? Thank you very much.

connect to an external monitor even a friend's for testing purposes that has a hdmi port in it to see if laptop displays ok on it or not.

Thank you so much. Hooked it up to my SmartTV through HDMI port and it was the dreaded white screen there as well. Do I try to repair it, or time to start looking for a new one? I so very much appreciate the help!
