The Game 1 headset or desktop mic/headphones?

Well, I kinda need help. So I've been deciding for a gaming headset (Like the Game 1 from Sennheiser) or headphones with a desktop mic.But I am completely stumped on which is "better." My budget will be around 200 dollars. To be a little specific, the games I mostly play is CS:GO and Rocket League, I am not the most competitive player and I love listening to music. I am all for audio but not really a audiophile. I also want a decent sounding mic which the headset mic sound decent, but yeah. 7.1 surround sound is optional. Lastly, I am ONLY PC gaming, no consoles. (just in case ig)

This reviewer liked the Game One quite a bit. I don't know what his experience is or what he considers good though.

Obviously you can do better with separates but maybe not for the same price. It does say they scale with better equipment so an amp and DAC will benefit them. I wish he'd compared the sound to other Sennheiser headphones.
