the right set up

Hi All,
i got a pc with amd phenomII x4,ati radeon 5 series with hdmi output, LG 32lm6200 tv and lg bluray home theater with 5.1 channel sound.
i want to play pc games with high end sound, so how the right setup for that.

For now i using this setup
pc using HDMI to LED TV, then LED tv usind optical cable to my home theater.

is that the right setting? or should i buy 5.1 channel sound card for my pc, and directly connect to home theater?

Your hookup is fine so long as you are getting surround sound when you use the PC. A 5.1 analog audio output card will do you no good unless you have an appropriate input on the HTiB (which you probably do not).

try hdmi to the tv with optical from the pc to the receiver.
you can also try hdmi from the pc to the receiver and then hdmi to the tv.
please note that your receiver must support the 5.1 sound format of the game in question ( which I cant recall what it is)
