The Witcher 3 CPU

So I have a laptop with 2.6 Ghz and the game says it needs like 3.3 or something. My graphics card is much better then needed, but the CPU speed is the problem. Just wanted to know if this really means I cannot run the game because it looks quite fun

Below is chart that shows desktop CPU performance with a desktop GTX 980. You will not see performance anywhere near what is in the chart, but it does show that the dual core i3-4130 can handle the Witcher 3 quite well.

I have a GTX 965, how will mine run compared to this? Thank you by the way

The GTX 965m is rather weak compared to desktop counterparts. The link below has some benchmarks for that chip click the FPS numbers to find out the laptop configurations, but mostly those laptops have a quad core i7 CPU. The GTX 965m is considered to be less powerful than a desktop GTX 760.

The link below are benchmarks for GPUs with the Core i7-5960X which has 8 physical cores + Hyper Threading. The GTX 760 gets 47 FPS with medium settings @ 1080p. There is a another chart which shows the GTX 760 getting 30 FPS for high settings. Therefore, you should expect less that those numbers especially since you are only using a dual core CPU.
