Remember the old days?

The volume of posts are way up and there are so many more models to
discuss.

A lot of posts were devoted to the CODFM nonsense but now there is
actual discussions of HDTVs and programming.

Good reflection of the growth of the market. More and more people seem
comfortable with the idea of spending over $4k for a plasma set. Not
sure if that's only from the HDTV image quality or from the flat panel
form factor.

Yup, it's a better newsgroup now.
A lot more intelligent, relevant discussions going on...
Too bad it can't be perfect. ;-)

HDTV really is taking off now, and I love to show newbies how good it can
be.
Put on OTA shows like CSI on our old D-ILA projector and their jaws are on
the floor.
And, they can't believe Hi-def OTA that performs so perfectly is free
(practically).
