Too long startup

When pressing power on button the blue light flashes for about 10minutes before the system powers up. Have done a factory reset but no luck. Cant remove the battery as built in. Once system starts it runs perfect?

Hi,

May we know the complete specification or information about your laptop? Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help as well.
- Do a hard reset, unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then try booting it up again.
- Next is to update the BIOS to the latest one there is available from the manufacturers site.
- Reseat the RAM's, remove them all for couple of seconds then put them back in making sure that everything is seated properly.
- Lastly, do reset BIOS into default by pressing F9 while your inside BIOS.

Are you saying it takes 10minute to get the bios or to boot to the OS or are you saying windows loading time is 10minutes long?

I would take out:
The GPU
All the RAM except one stick
Hard drive (as we just want to get to BIOS first)
Any other drive such as DVD drive

Start pressing the DELETE key after you have pressed the power button till it puts the BIOS up

I have asked around and people I know have said the way they fixed a blinking power light was to turn off the PSU from the back, unplug it then press the pc's power button down for 10-15secs to kill the power to the motherboard.

Try this. Anyway you should always press the power button a few time when you have turn all the power off to rid any left power, like when you turn off a pc then by the plug and it takes 10seconds till the speaker and monitors lights go off.
