toolbar chrome disappears

when i click on an desktop icon the page opens, but i have no toolbar to book mark or send link ect? tried everything but no show.

Do you still see the html address bar? There should be a transparent star next to that to the right Just click the star to bookmark a site.

If you want to do anything else in Chrome you will see 3 dark grey lines to the right just under the red X ( close button ) click there and you will have everything available to you.

Click on settings : now go to Extensions or advanced settings and play around ( depends if you are using the default toolbar or an extension)

Uninstall Chrome

Download the latest version of Chrome

Install it

Does it still have this problem?

reloaded chrome same thing. When i click on a desk top icon (shortcut) the web page comes up, but no way to forward or save to faverotices or document, just brown plain bar across the top

Well then I am unsure how you can fix it the best thing would be to post a screen shot and post it here and then also send said screenshot to Google.

For the time being use Ctrl + D to favourate pages.
