Toshiba LCD Model 46PB20E "Power TV" Won't Turn On

Hi,

I have Toshiba 46PB20E LCD that won't turn on. You do hear the "click" of the power board and there even sound but no picture.. It is just flashing twice and stay dark like it is turned off (but as said, it is turned on as i see the green light + hear sound).
I tried the purposed solution here (http/www.tomsguide.com/answers/id-2221653/toshiba-32c120u-lcd-turn.html) but with no luck..

*UPDATE* wanted to add that there is sound which means the TV is turning on but again, there is not picture and the screen is turned off.

If there are other sounds coming from within the device, then it may be turning on, just not the display. Should that be the case, try this...

Try this...

1. Turn the laptop off (not sleep or hibernate but off).
2. Connect an external monitor to the laptop.
3. Turn on the external monitor.
4. Turn on the laptop.

NOTE: You may have to press an "external monitor" button. Could be the f4 button or a button with two monitors on it, for the external monitor to work.

If you can see fine on the external monitor, then your attached display, or the ribbon cable that connects it, are your problem.

If you can't see on the external monitor at all, or the problem occurs on the external monitor as well, then it is probably the graphics card/GPU that is the problem, which may require the motherboard be replaced.

This is not a laptop but a LCD TV. Thank you for your answer though.

I see. I didn't even realize it was about a TV until reread. You posted in laptops.

ohh s***.. Do i have a way to move it or just to re-post?
