I have been looking and looking both online and on the laptop itself, but no matter what I do I can't figure out how the heck to access the fan. I've been having an issue with performance of this laptop for quite some time, and it usually has to do with overheating when I'm doing something even slightly taxing. It doesn't overheat to the point of shutting down, but SpeedFan and CoreTemp show me that it's definitely reaching unsafe levels.
Anyway, I have a dog and lots of dust. I'm sure my fan is not functioning properly, even if that isn't the whole problem, but Toshiba has apparently decided it'd be fun to lock the fan somewhere only they can reach. Do I have to completely disassemble my entire laptop just to get to it? You'd think they'd make the fan easily accessible considering how important cooling is for a laptop...
I can't even find disassembly instructions anywhere. Can anyone give me some insight here?
