The laptop is a few years old with alot of miles on it. When i plug
the charger into the laptop the battery light will glow amber and
charge properly for a few minutes then the battery light will begin to
blink and the battery will discharge until the laptop shuts off. If i
pull the plug and plug it back in the laptop will begin to charge
properly again for a few minutes and then the light will begin
blinking again. I bought a new battery hoping this would solve the
problem, but the problem remains.

Please Help B4 my laptop goes flying out my window!

Sounds like the first battery was bad and perhaps the replacement is
too. Where did you get the new battery?

I really doubt that it is the battery, it is acting exactly the same
as with the old battery.

Well in that case there's only 2 other possibilities. Either a problem with
your AC adapter (cheap) or a problem with the charging circuitry on the
system board (expensive).

Good luck,
me/2

You think it's impossible to get a new battery that is bad? How long
do you think it had been sitting on a shelf?
