Toshiba Satellite c855d-s5315 Laptop won't power on

My sister has given me her laptop in hopes that I can fix it. It is a Toshiba Satellite c855d-s5315 that she has had for less than a year.

She informed me that upon booting one day, the laptop emitted a beep code and shut itself down. Unfortunately, she couldn't describe the beep specifically. From what she told me, I assumed it may be due to failing memory.

Fortunately for me, I have another Toshiba Satellite that I purchased the same day as her. Here is what I've tried so far:

Swapping out the RAM
Swapping out the battery

After trying these two things to no avail, I started to suspect the mobo or CPU had failed....but I'm not sure!

Since I can't power the laptop on at all and replicate the beep code, I'm kind of stumped! I consider myself a "baby" tech, so I'm hoping some of you may be able to weigh in with how I should proceed next.

if it gave you a beep.it means the cpu is fried/gone replace it.but although finding laptop parts can be abit hard tbh
